Once upon a time, the asses of Fannyside Farms and Butte Mines enjoyed a privileged position in their community. They plowed the fields. They milled the grains. They transported the goods. They pulled the carts full of coal out of the bowels of the earth.

But those days are now past…

After being replaced by Machines, the asses are uniting to stage their first Protest. The plan: They’ll march on the village of Bumpkin and demand their jobs back. But will they be able to convince the Humans to give up their Machines? Will they be able to agree on the best course of action? And who, if any, is best suited to lead the herd towards their goal?

Their adventures will take them from nostalgic 2D worlds to mysterious 3D astral planes to many more strange and dangerous places, all in pursuit of a life worth living.
